Sorry u guys are still dealing with this liar. Lied directly to my face about words he said about my son. The a.d. even called my kid in after the season to apologize for “his guys”actions. Nothing was ever done. Guess that’s how it goes when it’s “his guy”. Both need to go immediately. So glad my kids are out of that situation all together.

The way he would yell at us during half time instead of speaking to us telling us what we could do better and the way he drove players to quit because of there physical stature

I’ve been to the Coach first, then the superintendent. I played the audio I had on my phone to the superintendent. Guess next time I’ll call Channel 5 like Louisburg did. Please for our students do what is right here. Don’t let our students be humiliated by this man anymore. He should have been fired after Dawson was called out and embarrassed by his teammates. The boys do not respect him they laugh at him. This is not a joke these boys need someone they can look up too as a mentor. Also the language by all Coaches needs to be looked into. Kids carry their phones everywhere now. The language spoken by some of these Coaches is way out of control. Do better PV Board. This is my second generation going through PV and it’s obvious there is decline in our hiring. Maybe that needs to be looked at as well. I would love to speak to any Board members that would listen.

This is becoming a serious issue across our sports programs. These boys have worked hard all their lives and have been dedicated to these sports, yet poor coaching and lack of character from some coaches are undermining everything they’re building. It’s not just affecting performance—it’s damaging our program’s reputation, our schools, and their integrity, while also creating a culture of losing. In some cases, it’s even impacting the well-being and confidence of our kids. Coaching should go beyond wins and losses. It should develop discipline, respect, and strong character. When that standard isn’t being met, it becomes a leadership problem that needs to be addressed.

What’s happening isn’t just limited to one sport, it applies to baseball as well. These kids have been dedicated to these games since they were in preschool and kindergarten, putting in years of effort and passion. Their parents have been there every step of the way, supporting and encouraging them. To now see our boys wanting to walk away from a sport they’ve loved for so long, simply because of the coaching, speaks volumes. It highlights a serious issue that can’t be ignored.
