Gov. Cuomo, once again you brought this to us. You wanted gambling here to help your budgeting, or lack of, as it turns out. I am living on a string as it is, now you want to take more from us by stopping this much needed funding for Hamburg NY ? How about you LEGALIZE Marijuana as you have been talking about for way TOO MANY YEARS!!! It is legal in states all around us, including Canada!! That would certainly make up for part of your deficit short fall from last year!! You should not with hold the monies promised to towns for supporting your gambling video machines as well as police and other services needed to support your baby! It is well past time for a new Gov. for NY! I will never support you again. Reinstate this necessary funding.

$866,000 of annual fees is a significant blow to all of us in Hamburg. This is our money according to the money you bribed towns with to allow gambling into our communities. People on fixed incomes can't afford to lose this money and pay higher taxes. We are taxed enough already.

The rationale to discontinue this funding is flawed. Attendees do not typically spend money in the town since the facility offers all the people need for a night out. And even if some may, the money generated for local businesses doesn’t cover costs incurred by the town. Please reconsider your decision.

Being a Senior living on a fixed income, I can’t afford an increase on taxes. I don’t want to loose my home or live in my car.

This is just another reason to leave NYS and establish residency in another state.

Hey Cuomo, just because you continue to do waist full spending and do not know how to control your budget this does n to give you the go ahead to start pilfering small towns moneys that were set in place years ago. You know the money you bribed towns with to allow gambling into our communities. A deal is a deal now leave it alone.
