Smart Fit Kids is not just another before and after school program. It has been our second family and infallible support system. Bixia and her staff truly care for the well-being of the children and treat each and every one of them as if they were their own. To shut down Smart Fit Kids is to deny our children their beloved caregivers, with whom they, and we as parents, have come to trust and depend on. Please consider re-opening Smart Fit Kids, while they continue through the process of obtaining licensure.

I see no logical reason why government officials should delay Smart Fit from re-opening. They are well run and professional. Government should work toward the best solution for citizens. Grant provisional authority to reopen would be in the best interest of our communiry.

Please re-open SmartFit Kids Academy immediately, even if under a provisional license. The immediate closure of the program just 3 weeks into the school year is causing confusion for our children and hardship on working families. The program is well run and beloved by the children and parents.

Smart Fit is so much more than a before and after school center. My daughter has been attending for 4 years since she was in kindergarten. We have grown so close to the students and the staff. They are like family to us.
They truly look to empower each and every child in their care through academics and martial arts while having fun and building friendships.
They give back to the community and in turn, they have taught our children to give back. The staff has been there for us parents through good times and has helped when facing hardships. They have taken our children to senior centers to sing carols and deliver cookies to brighten the holidays. The entire center along with parents and children have hosted dinners for the homeless.
Smart Fit has reinforced good values in our children that we practice at home. To always treat others with respect and always do the right thing. I am asking that you do the right thing and expedite the required licensing that is needed.
Smart Fit is so deserving of having their operations run while working to get this license.
You would have to be a parent to really appreciate how incredible this company is and to understand how much of a positive impact they have made in the community. Thank you for listening to our voices. We hope that you do the right thing for Smart Fit and our community.

Please reopen SFK. It was cost effective and emphasized physical activity for children before and after school. Choosing them 3 weeks into the school year left families desperate to find child care and forced to make quick decisions instead of quality decisions for our children. That is not in anyone's best interest!

The sudden and no notice closure of SmartFit Kids had a huge negative impact on so many families. Before and after programs are incredibly difficult to get into to begin with, let alone after the school year has already begun. Our child was devasted that she would no longer see her friends, the staff, and her Taekwondo instructor. So many parents were put in a bad positon, which caused undue stress and financial burden. Do the right thing and allow SmarFfit to re-open on a provisional license.

Let SmartFit operate again! It’s ridiculous that they had to close down while obtaining a new license while others were allowed to continue to operate. I am one of many parents who now have to find aftercare so I can continue to work and support my family.

My son has been attending Smart Fit Academy for 4 years now and he has grown into a mature young boy in regards to self discipline, respectful, focus with school work and provide numerous opportunities for him to learn because Smart Fit was there to encourage him. As a single parent this drastic shut down had a negative impact to me in regards to being able to work and drastically impacted my son's normal routine which as a parent we try to avoid. Please consider providing Smart Fit Kids Academy the opportunity to open their doors back up to the community they serve while they get their license

My daughter is very shy. This program has given her the chance to open up to many new people. She has made new friends at Smart Fit, and now, other places we associate with in our personal lives. Also, the Taekwondo program has given her discipline and the courage to take on many new things. Smart Fit needs to be up and running right away. It has touched the lives of not only the children who attend, but their families as well. Thank you Smart Fit!

as a community we should help one another not hurt eachother. By not being flexible or working with people that are helping us goto work and earn a pay check we will remember that when it comes time to re-elect your position.
