I am very much persuaded by the more balanced socioeconomic and minority student distribution of Plan A. Plan A also draws students from more (5 instead of 4) of the area schools to populate the Mays Chapel school, and leaves fewer schools with overcrowding problems. It seems as though fewer students will be transported across York Road under Plan A.

Query -- could the much hyped "shrinking" kindergarten enrollment at Riderwood have anything to do with parents from a certain neighborhood waiting to register?

Option A seems better to me even though some children will have to spend way too much time on the school bus!

Option A is by FAR the most fair considering ALL the schools impacted by the redistricting. We strongly support Option A.

Option A is fairer to the region, better for the new school, and Pot Spring, and just as good for Pinewood and Riderwood. Option A adheres to more of the stated redistricting criteria. Option B openly panders to a vocal subset of the affected schools which hope to further insulate themselves from the unknown effects of this redistricting experiment while others face the brunt of its challenges.

Option A is more equitable for the area as a whole, and will use NATURAL BOUNDARIES to divide schools. Elementary schools are neighborhood schools.

A plan that provides more fairness and opportunities for more students so that the greatest number of students benefit mean more sudents win.

Option A will reduced traffic to the entire York Rd/Falls Rd area as compared to B. It will also greatly reduce transportation costs to the county. Option A also accomplishes the diversity goal by making ALL schools more diverse. In Option B Pinewood, Riderwood, and Timonium have virtually NO diversity at all.

On all metrics, Option A provides more balance and equality among the student base in all the schools in the district.

There is no logical way OPTION B works for community. Following thru with OPTION B will be a tremendous black eye for the political / educational leaders.VOTE OPTION A

Option 'A' better meets the criterion of balancing student diversity in all affected schools.
