Final supporters
The undersigned petitioners join their voices for an insistent call that the Kansas House Federal & State Affairs Committee hold a hearing on this matter immediately upon the start of the “veto session” set to begin April 27, 2020. Given the weight and breadth of the issue, two dates of the committee’s normal meeting periods are appropriate for allowing fair public comment. All of the medical marijuana bills currently assigned to this committee are suitable for considering action upon.
Various advocacy organizations have solicited Kansans to join in this petition, so the undersigned represent more than just Liberty Alliance members. No person, by signing, commits themselves to any cost or to financially supporting Liberty Alliance to any degree. For anyone who'd like more info about our organization, please check out our website The Liberty Alliance.
The signers acknowledge, and provide their consent, that the personally identifying information they supply on this petition is for the purpose of ensuring its credibility and persuasiveness with the Kansas Legislature and will be included in the finished petition that is presented to lawmakers. With that lone caveat, the Liberty Alliance shall otherwise honor for all petitioners the same assurance its own members receive, that Liberty Alliance will not share their personal information with any third party whatsoever.

I just looked at the counter and realized we hit the first hundred signatures which is honestly way faster than I expected given how quiet things were yesterday. It feels so surreal to see all those names piling up because it actually makes the whole thing start to feel real and tangible instead of just a loose idea bouncing around in my head while I try to figure out how to get the committee to listen.

So many states have this figured out. We are just losing tax money and hurting folks who just need relief. Do your jobs.
Let us have a vote already. People are hurting and this is a basic health issue. Stop stalling.
Its time to stop ignoring the people on this one. My dad needs this for his nerve pain and driving across the state line is getting old.
COMMON SENSE. Kansas is so far behind it hurts.
My grandson has seizures and this is the only thing that actually works for him. Why is it so hard to get a hearing?
