Was not allowed in, except to triage, after they could not make sense of what my dad was saying and he could not tell them why he was even in the ER because of dementia.

I have not seen exact text of a petition other than what showed on the description on iptetions.com. I very much think it is uncaring, emotionally unhealthy, and unacceptable to not allow patients to have visitors. I do think this desperately needs to be changed.

Too many are dying alone. Those with mental challenges,dementia, etc., need a caregiver to be their voice and advocate.

My mother is 93 yrs old. I haven't been able to see her since this covid 19 started back in March. Since March my Mother has had two sisters and a niece to pass away. I don't want to tell her over the phone. Not being able to see our loved ones is unacceptable, something needs to change

President Trump please do whatever you can to instruct the hospitals and ER’s to allow parents, spouse, or guardian to accompany their loved one in these facilities. It’s is just inhumane and heartbreaking and a violation of our civil rights to prevent the caregivers of patients from accompanying their ill loved ones and sometimes they even die alone. Thank you so much!

It's inhumane to keep families from visiting their sick relatives. They can gown up and wear masks just like hospital employees to comfort their family members.

Dr. - Nurses all hospital staff can come an go ( with protection) at least 1 family member should be there !!

God lets them in the Pearly Gates then you should let them in the hospital to see their mother. They're in isolation it could be arranged.
