If a parent thinks their son or daughter should not wear a cosmetic such as hair dye, that is fine. But I urge the parent(s) to consider letting their daughter do as she wishes with her body. If it doesn't work out, she will learn from experience first-hand. If it does work out, she just realized how supportive her parents are.
