I join the rest of the congregation to ask the NYM leadership to unconditionally reconsider, rescind and withdraw its’ decision to close the FIC Centre and suspension of the Physical worship services and re-open the Centre for normal services to resume as we all work together to restore the purpose for our existence as a Church.

Members seeking to fellowship and worship God should never be denied access to a place of worship. Let my people go so that they may hold a festival and worship the Almighty God. The FIC altar must be accessible freely.It is the Jerusalem of not only the NYM but the whole Quaker family worldwide. The Church leadership must lead and encourage members to worship God ALONE in TRUTH and SPIRIT as it engages an objective discourse to address any areas of disagreements within the Church. May God’s grace be sufficient to bring wisdom in dealing with this disturbing issue.
Different opinions and perspectives can make us easily feel divided. But Psalms 133:1 reminds us of the blessings and beauty of living together in harmony. Lets all be focused on what unites us rather than what divides us. AND, But in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving we should let our requests be made known unto God.(Philippians 4:6)

It is so unfortunate that the church's top management can close a worship centre to lock out members from worshipping. We can disagree but closing the church from members' access is a bit extreme and inconsiderate. Our main objective is to worship God in a true way and not fight over leadership positions and control of church property. Let us all abide to true Quaker values and practice what the Bible says instead of all this unnecessary drama
