At Adena Local Schools we have regulated lunches as most schools across America. As of right now our school is trying to give us many options to see what we like most in our lunches. As we are trying to change our lunch menu we still feel like we could better serve our community if given more power to make those decisions. The goal of Adena FCCLA is to get the lunch laws changed so that local communities can set their own lunchroom menus, food choices and policies in order to better prepare students to make healthy decisions. We believe that our school cafeteria should have limited government regulation. We are presenting these signatures of students, staff, and community members who agree with our position. It takes a community to make a change. Please consider deregulating school lunches and requesting the government off more of a variety of commodity items for our menus!
