Petition for Mr. Hurd, lunchman, to be removed from Lawrenceburg High School

I had $20 in my account and the next day it was gone, Mr. Hurd told me to give him the extra chicken I had. Instead of throwing it away he took the chicken with his ungloved hands and put it back in the serving trays.

I put 10 dollars in basically at the start of the school year and the next day it was all gone when I had only bought an ice cream and exta pizza the ice cream was $1.00 and the extra 1 slice of pizza was $2.00. I believe he should be fired there are also people have seen him selling drugs. And when he served food he should be wearing gloves not using his bare hands next time he does I'ma call the health instructors on him for not wearing gloves and who know what kind of remains are on his hands from during God know what and that's why I signed this petition.

If you didn’t play football your lunch didn’t matter and you got old nasty food. Dave always had homemade hot meals or desserts to give to the football players but if a girl were to ask for the food he would say he’s out but then another football player would walk up to him and he magically had more

Dave was never rude to me and always gave me free smoothies BUT he was overly nice to just the boys that played spirts always talking and laughing with them and ALWAYS giving them extra and free homemade meals that were never on the lunch menu for anyone else

Touches our food and things we eat without gloves on. Food's often very undercooked or stale. Bad attitude to everyone except the boys who play sports. Won't give people who can't afford lunch something to eat but yet can still somehow afford to pass out free food, snacks, sandwiches, whatever else to the sports kids he seems to like so much.

Feels like forever since I went here, but I can confirm that Dave does infact put his greasy hands on everything without gloves on. The favoritism is an issue too.

This is outrageous kids need smiles n compliments not what he doing hope he is fired

His favorites are the foot ball jocks he has all way been that way even when I went to school there.

This is wrong I don’t go there but I definitely will take a stand when one is needed

I've heard nothing but, horrible things about this Man, and I see him propped up on his nightly Bar stool, at the Half moon as well... I say good riddance to bad rubbish

I was a student who received free lunch and one day I was denied lunch at school because I supposedly had no balance on my account. I was not even offered an alternative meal. It was embarrassing and I didn't eat lunch again for a week. This being said, Dave would always give free food to his favorite athletes, sometimes he'd even make them special meals. His relationship with some athletes seemed to go beyond favoritism. It was inappropriate and it made me uncomfortable just witnessing it.

I remember him always trying to make me pay 2$ when i had free lunch in school i will also say that hes not the only one who needs evaluated the principal i recall him telling me when i got in trouble once that he knows of plenty of seniors that could beat me up LOL... not to mention that Mr johnson pushed me out of highschool forcing me to leave if i didnt sign my name they would auto sign for me i wasnt a bad kid in school really just my freshman year was really troubling my dad was a alcoholic i was living with just my mom and my brother at the time and my girlfriend of 2 yrs at the time cheated on me and i got in a fight immediately got kicked out.. but the next day 2 other kids get in a fight and only get detention i was accused of being on drugs when i had never tried drugs in my life and this really made my life hard for a few years i had to learn the hard way how to live life but i did get my ged and start college maybe it was his was of showing me how to do right maybe i just dont understand but i do see alot of troubled kids who need reached out to and not pushed away and i think lawrenceburg schools really need to realize this

I graduated almost 9 years ago. He was always sooooo rude and would even wipe his sweat off with his hands and then touch food with no gloves. I really cannot believe he still works there after all these years

I literally never got lunch while I was there solely because I didn’t want to talk to him. He was always unnecessarily rude to me and I never knew why.

This is UNACCEPTABLE, why is there even a question to get rid of him or not.....we seriously need a petition for this?!?

He needs to be drug tested.
