I have had yet to have Matt as a professor and was really looking forward to taking classes with him. Like everyone else, I have only heard the best about Matt and know that the film program would suffer tremendously without him!

Routinely have camera crew and grips on my shoots that go to SCC. The only professor they talk about learning from is this guy. Never met him. But his reputation in my field proceeds him. Might be a good thing to reconsider kicking him to the curb.

He is one.of.the most helpful, knowledgeable people I have ever met in films. My Film talents have grown substantially in short amount of time, because of his teaching. If we loose him as a teacher, it will not only be a huge loss to SCC Film School but, as well the program itself will suffer.

Matt is an amazing teacher with a breadth of knowledge that is so valuable to SCC and its students. Matt is also a great guy who deserves better. SCC, you need to keep him so that the school can maintain a level of respect for the film program.

I learned so much from Matt in his cinematography class. But more than that, I consider him a friend. He is hands down one of the best instructors at The Film School @ SCC, and will always be my favorite.
