We, the students of Scottsdale Community College, petition to have Matt Myers remain a teacher at SCC.

Scottsdale Community College is known as one of the top film schools in Arizona and is especially well known for their Cinematograhy program. This is due, in whole, to the wonderful guidance and knowledge of Matt Myers. However, his contract has not been renewed and he may have to leave at the end of the Spring 2016 semester. We feel as if SCC does not have anyone adequate enough to fill his place at the School or in our hearts. The professional standard he has established and quality education he has delivered is uncontested. With years of experience in the film industry and multiple personal connections within, he has helped many students climb the job ladder and reach their dream career. It will take multiple teachers and cost the school more money to replace a man with this level of talent.

We demand that Matt Myer's contract be reinstated and that he continue to teach at Scottsdale Community College.
