The young elementary school kiddos are not eligible for vaccine yet, and are at high risk to get infected by COVID virus, especially for the highly contiguous Delta strain. We should do what we can do, requiring mask wear at school, to protect this young generation to allow them to have a happy and healthy learning environment at school.

My kids are studying at Zionsville school ，，why still the school has no requirements about put mask on for student and teachers?？？all the other cities like Carmel, pike and so on start from August 16th , 2021 is a must. We are people, we can manage a mask. We already have mask on before. Our kids under 12 years old have no vaccines, they have the rights to be protected, we, parents, neighbors, teachers, city leaders, policy issuers have the responsibility to take care of our young generation. If they are sick because of covid, that means we the older are the looser to protect them. We have new born babies at home, we have very old generation stay at home together, too. All these people need to be well protected. This is the most urgent, important, critical issue has to be solved first. We hope the City leaders issue the policy in these 2 days. Thank you very much!

Masks can even prevent breakthroughs among vaccinated people, not mentioning there’s plenty more voluntary unvaccinated children in schools.

All students and employees should wear masks for safty.
