I, Alan Harig, as the petitioner, request to be granted a Private Detectives License, in order to provide security services as part of my business titled "Templar Security Services". I have been involved in Law Enforcement and Security Services for a period of over 24 years. I have gained a level of expertise over this time which will allow me to provide superior services to clients in and around the Washington County area. My background includes, but is not limited to the following: 1. 20 yrs US Army Military Police, Corrections, Investigations, Inmate Counseling experience, as well as working as a US Army Recruiter here in Washington County. 2. Attended and graduated the Dept of Veterans Affairs Police Academy and worked for the VA for a period of 1 year. 3. Worked as a Security Officer for local Security Companies in support of local gas well drilling sites in Washington County. 4. Possess College level education related to the Criminal Justice field 5. Worked as Director of Security for IPC International, a national security firm providing services to large shopping complexes.
