I fully agree with the above statement that ETRC and America House do not perform the same function. I find ETRC’s services necessary and useful for both teachers and students.

I agree with other teachers not to close ETRC because this center and its staff help us to work and study our students more successful using ENGLISH resource materials either textbooks or movies

ETRC is a great help for EFL and ESL teachers!

Please, support this institution. A lot of teachers need it and appreciate their work.

ETRC is very useful for teachers of English, it provides us with resourses, holds the seminars when we can also communicate with experienced American teachers and exchange experience. It's a friendly and welcomed place.

I've been with this project from the very fist days .The impact of ETRC on shaping teachers' careers is not possible even to measure. This project is not only about the methodology and ways of teaching it is about being more tolerant, more broad minded,

It is extremely important to raise English teachers level in Ukraine. You know, my son studies English language at a common school. It's awful mainly because of the old approaches used by the teacher!

ETRC its unbelievable area where you can relax and work for an hour. It does not match with America House where you can hear a lot of noise every day. I cant imagine my life without ETRC, without their interesting events.

I thoroughly recommend the ETRC to my colleagues and friends and support the idea to keep it functioning.

Greetings! I am an English teacher who grew up with the ETRC. I began teaching when I was 18, and all the upcoming years I was attending weekly seminars, discussions and other meetings. My success as a teacher happened ONLY because of the ETRC, I'm not kidding. ...You enter the room and immediately are surrounded by the warmness and support of the ETRC host family. Oh, ETRC has a special smell - not only the pleasant scent of books, but an inspiring mix of American culture paperbacks and publications from the U.S. Department of State. On Thanksgiving come and feel a real turkey, on Halloween teachers have fun even more than their students ") Long time ago the ETRC became more than a Resource Center, on a daily basis it transforms to Ideas Lab, quiet place for teacher meditation, loud discussions with colleagues, tea parties and handmade workshops, well, everything you can only imagine! Some of the educators come from other cities, further than Kyiv area just to ATTEND an event. Please Please PLEASE do NOT take the ETRC from Ukrainian teachers, you simply would DEactivate our sincere enthusiasm and motivation for daily classroom miracles...

Please keep the ETRC at Mohyla running! I have used it for teaching purposes for many years.

The ETRC was crucial in getting information and introductions regarding a new teaching methodology and The Leadership Course. As a result teachers and students have created breakthrough results in areas of their fundamental interests. The good will generated of US towards Ukraine and bolstering the budding democracy is immeasurable and well worth every dollar invested. I am a US citizen teaching leadership at NaUKMA and regularly see the positive influence of the ETRC and our contributions. We need more such centers across Ukraine not less. I request we keep the funds going and consider installations in other cities. It is less obvious but way more effective than funding military interventions to resolve conflict. Being deeply related is the best approach to anything we want to accomplish and the ETRC certainly provides that opportunity. Thank-you.

I beg you not to close ETRC. It is extremely useful for me and my colleagues.

ETRC is a very useful and helpful centere for teachers and students. Here we can find a lot of necessary materials. And seminars, webinars and workshops provide us with necessary practical knowledge and broaden our minds. We need this centre to improve our educational system of learning foreign languages. It is important for us especially after our Revolution of Dignity. There are so many people wishing the best for their country!

English teachers have been relying on ETRC for help, advice, inspiration, ideas, and professional development. Not having it would be a great loss.

It's very sad to hear that the work of the ETRC is goint to be stopped. I used to take take English books on verious topics there. Students and teachers have the possibility to attend seminars, webinars and workshops here. The staff is ver efficient, polite and helpful. The ETRC provides teachers and students with necessary materials, books and practical knowledge.
