We need ETRC! This is a great experience for non-native speakers and English teachers. ETRC meetings are very informative.

ETRC should live for ever!

ETRC is a great helpful place for both students and teachers to stay in touch with the English language, improve their language skills, etc through attending seminars and speaking clubs, borrowing numerous language material. We are very grateful for having an opprotunity to visit it! (Students from KPI, Faculty of Linguistics, TPTE Department)

It's invaluable for my career growth and professional development. Moreover, it's affordable if to take into consideration the fact that teachers in Ukraine are low-paid.

Oh, Dear ETRC staff, I’d like to say THANK YOU for your work. You know, it helps us in our not easy everyday life. You Newsletters which all of us receive every month, they are very useful in different spheres – in education, development (announcements about conferences, scholarship programs, summer and winter schools, webinars and workshops which take place here in ETRC in Kyiv, new textbooks, magazines, new books you have……..and so on and so on) useful information and information about how to be in a good mood and be healthy (links to useful sites and interesting inspiring videos) and even a poem that you have for us every month which inspires us greatly. I feel support from you every month when I receive your letters, every time when I come to ETRC. You are so friendly and kind to us to visitors of the center. English Teaching Resource Center is an English Teachers’ Community place for me as an English Teacher, where I can share my thoughts and ideas with fellow teachers from Ukraine and from USA. Also in ETRC there is a library, where English Teachers and students of Linguistic Faculty can find such books in English methodology and Linguistics and other theoretical books in English and English textbooks for General English and English for Specific Purposes and also fiction books. So, Thank You, again, for your magnificent, marvelous great job.

I am a teacher of KMA, and I find ETRC’s work and services necessary and useful. ETRC’s work gives me possability to learn English. I and my students can use the ETRC's services without spending much time for getting the Center.

The ETRC is necessary for teachers. Where else can you come and find something new and interesting for your classes and your students?

ETRC should stay alive!

ETRC has been an infinite source of inspiration and ideas about teaching English for me for almost ten years. Every modern method or technique I used in class was learnt here. This is the place where I learnt to work with modern computer technologies, write articles (my article about how I use TBL activities in classes, due to help of Jennifer Herrin and Lisa Harshbarger, was published in the English Teaching Forum magazine in 2009) and abstracts for conferences. Here I improved my English skills, made friends with many like-minded teachers and had an immense pleasure to learn from the best ESL methodologists from the USA. I am very grateful for such wonderful opportunity of professional development and strongly hope that ETRC with our dearest Natalia Pokladova and the other staff members will work in Ukraine as long as English is taught in this country. I also hope that a strong argument for this can be the fact that one of these days, laws have been passed in our country obliging every teacher or professor in higher education, every employee in government institutions to pass the exam in English at B2 level, otherwise they will have no right to work, and starting with 2017 the English language national exam for school leavers will be mandatory. I think, all this is the evidence of urgent need for such resource centers as ETRC, and it would be great if more than one of them could be open in the future.

We need you, ETRC !!!!
