American sign language bridges the gap between deaf and hearing people. Everyday they face challenges twice as hard as the hearing, the time has come to communicate effectively with those around us. Being deaf doesn't mean being silent, and being hearing doesn't mean being loud. ASL creates relationships, it fills the gap between us and it all starts now.

ASL and Deaf Culture are valuable and integral parts of our American society. Students would greatly benefit from the addition of an ASL minor to their degree programs.
