I am completely in agreement that we need 1 resource officer to be in each school.
I would like to know that all budget trimming was exhausted before raising taxes.

the time to act on school safety is now.. not after god forbid anything ever happens to any of our children. Its time to wake up and realize in today’s day and age anything can occur anywhere without prior knowledge.

No parents should have to worry about school shootings, but in the world we live in where there are barely any restrictions on guns. The only thing we can do is make sure that we have police officers and quick responders to emergencies in schools. It’s unacceptable that you have one officer for five schools

I no longer have children in the schools as mine are graduated. However, I am happy to pay the $60 extra per year it will cost in taxes so that we can have an SRO in every school building. SROs build relationships with our students and that alone is a huge deterrent to crime.

Better to be proactive instead of reactive..,, this is a no brainer! Please let the kids safety override the school boards arrogance and stop using this as a power play!
