Our area is growing fast but we are losing the most important part of our area. The wildlife we have deer and other wild animals that rely on wooded areas for cover and protection. The more we take the less we will have.

The concern for the welfare, of wildlife as well as the community. should be a concern to all elected officials.

Building is just great for increasing population. That is not what is always best for the people and wildlife that live here. You want to make more money then make arrangements for areas to be blocked off, signs posted to watch for animals, monitor speeding in the area. We want trees and not all parking lots, condos, duplexes and businesses.

In the pursuit of development for the wealthy, the wildlife which is part of our ecosystem has been stripped of their habitats that there's almost nowhere left for them to live in knox county. Along Cunningham Road and other areas like John Sevier Hwy as two prime examples, the woodlands have been raped for developers. Animals with nowhere to go, frantically are racing across the road, and with vehicles speeding, they are getting killed. David gruper off paints the night he died. There should be forced reduced speed in construction zone areas. And maybe give a d*** about the wildlife just a little. They all can't live on a square acre. And in some places, there's not even that

I live in Corryton and have seen dead hawks or turkeys recently. Opossum is a common site, struck down by speeding cars. Thanks for your concern.
