I knew when the data was published for vitamin D that 600 IU was not enough. At 220lbs, I have take at least 10,000 IU per day plus whatever I get from other sources to reach 60ng/ml

Regardless of the "recommendations", we should have the right to consume the amount best for US. The vitamin D I order is, as we speak, held in Canadian customs and will most likely be sent back AGAIN. Why? Because it's above the "recommended" daily intake. I know my body and I know whats best for it, NOT the governement!

The 600 IU/day Vitamin D recommendation puts people's health at risk. Please reevaluate it.

My own experience is proof that the RDA for vitamin D is wrong. This calculation needs to be re-addressed immediately.

Everyone's needs is different, that is why it is necessary to have your vitamin D level checked at least twice a year and adjust the dose accordingly.

Trying to change flawed policy. We'd better have a lot of patience.
