I am in health care and I think our recommended vitamin D dose is too low, I think neurological diseases like MS and Parkinson's will soon be added to the list of consequences of a low vit D intake

I to tested very low for vitamin D levels. I recently was told to up vitamin D levels,have done this for about a month now and feeling and noticing improvement. Would be nice to know tho what we should be taking as i'm taking D3-1000 IU for a total of 4000 IU a day. I lived in Northwestern Ontario when this all started.
