There is a lot of evidence based research that Overdose Prevention Sites reduce overdose fatalities, reduce the transmission of blood borne infections, reduce injection related infections & increase referrals to health and social programs.

Bout time we got some real help here. These sites work plain and simple.
i have worked in an OPS in BC and have seen first hand how this service saves and enriches peoples lives. I am from New Brunswick originally and would love to see this essential service in the east coast. I cannot say enough what a positive thing OPS's are for people who use drugs and the greater community.
Always support harm and deduction programmes
Spearing resistance in areas of need allows room for growth & healing.

Too many people are dying in this city and we cant just sit around and watch anymore. Please make this happen for Halifax.
