I have been hearing from so many students who face daily anxiety just trying to use the restroom on campus. This is about ensuring our college honors its core values for every single person who studies here. I am currently reaching out to the administration to explain why these facilities are essential for our community.

Seeing this level of support for inclusive bathrooms proves that our campus is ready for real change. I feel so much hope knowing that so many of you believe in making our facilities safe and welcoming for every student.

the fact that these have not already become instated is ridiculous. get with the times.
I really do hate that some floors have only one gender bathroom. It's either male or females. Both will be nice, or a gender inclusive will be okay. For instance, gurley hall.
Thank you for all of your comments. As a clarification, the bathrooms where we would move to all gender bathrooms are all single stall bathrooms. Also, as much as we appreciate support, we only need signatures from Russell Sage students. Thank You, Theresa Hotte Student Government President
We already have these at Skidmore.
As a college that preaches gender inclusivity this is a no brainer.

I do not agree with this. Stalled bathrooms should be gender inclusive. I do NOT want to be trying to put in a tampon while a guy is pooping in the stall next to me. It would be extremely awkward to walk into a bathroom to wash my hands and to see a male peeing at a urinal. Single bathrooms should completely be able to be used by any gender. But stalled are gender specific for a reason. If someone is transgendered or identifies a certain way, then they should be able to choose whatever bathroom they want to use. ta-da problem solved without making a female bathrooms gross.
