My family was harassed and illegally searched multiple times by this officer. Upon bringing this up online the police chief threatened me with slander which isn't a crime in this state. Then removed me from their page as well as the numerous other dissenting opinions of other townspeople. I want him removed and the police department disbanded before I end up behind bars for challenging the department.

I live in statham and I've been pulled over more in the last year by Marc Lofton than I have in my entire life. Mr. Lofton sits in front of my house and pulls me over every chance he gets. Terribly scared to drive in statham when he is on duty. This officer does not make me feel safe. He actually frightens me because of the power he has within the justice system in statham GA.. I went to go file a complaint against him and was told to not turn it in because it would not help me and my situation. Hopeless single mom pulled over every time he gets the opportunity. Not coming to a complete stop on a few occasions and accused of speeding. Officer Lofton appeared out of no where on 316 at Jackson trail and was so close to the rear of my car he could have hit my daughter and I if I would have tapped my brakes. I've always incouraged my daughter to respect and appreciate officers of the law, but she is scared of this one!

Too often police officers think they can bully and grossly mistreat ppl if they cannot control their behavior any better perhaps they need to find a new career

False DUI drugs less safe--makes up fiction in his reports. No drugs in system.

My friend was falsely arrested for DUI-drugs--she was completely sober and the video and drug test shows that. He is ruining lives like it is a game.

i was falsely arrested by marc lofton for dui drugs less safe for taking my prescription medication. marc lofton lies repeatedly in his police report as evidenced by the dashcam and bodycam videos. lofton fabricates evidence and is all too willing to arrest people he knows are innocent. he needs to be FIRED

A friend of mine was falsely arrested by Ofc Lofton and I whole heartedly agree that he needs to be investigated! Officers like Lofton are what give police officers a bad name!

I was falsely arrested. My stop was unlawful. The sobriety tests were rediculous and he gave me give of them. Even when I told him to stop he would not. He did an illegal search and seizure of my vehicle. He pulled his taser on me. He refused to call another officer out when I requested one. He treated me very disrespectfully. He lied on all the reports. My list could go on but I will stop here because it's more than enough.
