PETITION IN SUPPORT OF CAROLINE PARKER'S L1 (B) AMENDMENTS TO THE RACIAL COMMISSION

I support the amendments by Caroline Parker to stop this Racial Commission.

I support Councilwoman Parker's amendments. They are entirely reasonable.

I don’t support anything that pits one race against another.

I am against having the commission. That is not the job of the city council. This commission should be done by the private sector, if it is to be done. If the commission is formed Caroline Parker's amendments are absolutely a must, especially the 2/3 approval by the council for any action taken by the commission,

Vote no on Racial Reconciliation Commission.

I strongly support the Parker Amendments. Let’s pursue humanity and the mutual interest in moving forward in harmony, not divisiveness.

Identity politics has no business in municipal government. Especially one that claims to be “non partisan”. Focus on core functions of local government.

Let's get away from this racial nonsense.
