PREACH. Reign has gone from being one of my favorite shows to just something I watch when there's nothnig else on. I miss Frary. I miss good writing. I miss season 1.

Season 1 was so much better, they have to stop ruinning the character and the historical context, pleease help the audience of reign stop falling, I really love this show but if the season 3 equals season 2, I stop watch

In season 1, there was the chemistry between mash and frary and the whole love triangle that overtook the entire season. In season 2, it's as though mash never even happened. In fact, fans are lucky if the two happen to mention one another in conversation to another person, let alone having scenes together themselves. As a frary shipper from the start of this show, I'm not asking for the mash ship to return, but for there to be scenes between the two that tell the audience that they both shared something once, and that they are not over it yet, married to others or no. And also not to create a second love triangle between francis, conde and mary, that will (given what happened with mash from last year) will only be forgotten when it come's to next season, thus making it pointless character development for mary and other characters that would be involved

I agree with every statement given for McCarthy's removal from Reign. There are too many plots that pick up and fall off unexpectedly, and most of then don't even make sense anyways. Under her writing, Mary has gone from a relatable and likeable character to someone I don't even recognize. She is now very irrational and hypocritical and someone I am starting to dislike very much. I hate to dislike the main protagonist of what once was such a good show, but Mary is too wildly unpredictable in her reasoning and actions. One thing I really liked about the first season is the fact that Reign ditched the overplayed love triangle pretty quickly. It was so refreshing to see a show take a different route to portray drama and angst. And now they've brought the love triangle back again....why?? It really doesn't make sense at all, many fans are very disgruntled and many others have stopped watching. Especially since the unnecessary rape of Mary seems to be the driving force behind the ridiculous love triangle. It's appalling that her rape only serves as a plot device for such a vapid storyline. There is so much more I could go on with but I'll stop here. In short, both the show and it's viewers are being treated with blatant disrespect on McCarthy's part. She is misdirecting and limiting the potential of the show, and if it doesn't get better, I will no longer be watching.

You can still be historically inaccurate without it being supernatural, irrelevant, 8,000 love interests and just plain stupid. I believe shows are made for the viewers as they are the ones that create ratings and therefore your paycheck. The way this show is being written leads me to believe the writer has some serious childhood problems.

I used to love this show. But now it spits on rape victims and insults the historical figures on the show. Laurie McCarthy treats the viewers like they're morons.

Laurie sells young women short. A woman who has such toxic views to share with young women should not be running a show targeted at teen girls.
