i think u basically have the support of our entire Human Rights class. we were appalled when episode 9 of season 2 aired and disgusted when this producer decided to create a love triangle from the rape. fully in support.

Can't believe they're still airing this. How are the ratings even still alive? Are people that willing to watch a show that throws all of their female characters in the "oh I'm just here to be fucked by multiple guys whose SLs are already messed up enough" drain. And the "oh let's rape our female protagonist in order to further our MALE CHARACTER'S storyline." Totally seeing the feminism in this show.......

i won't ever forget the day when someone convinced me to watch an episode of reign and it was the one where they played her rape in slow motion. i won't ever forget the nightmares i had week afterward. i only watched one episode of this show but i cannot believe that the network is still supporting this. i don't see the feminism in this show, all i see is rape culture in another american tv show.

The characters all used to be so dynamic and people I looked up to. Now all of them are so shallow it's almost unbearable to watch.

If this means better storylines for the queen Catherine I'm all in. And francis used to be such a dynamic character. Now he's just miserable. this show either needs to be cancelled soon or get a new show runner.

what the fuck is this? a season 3 for the show that throws around love triangles everywhere they go and didn't even put a trigger warning before an episode that showed a rape in slow motion? please. no more of this misogynistic misanthrope's shit.

thanks to whoever posted this on cyworld, We at last have a chance to rid these actors from this horrible showrunner. How horrible it must have been for the actor who played Francis to realize that this whole contrived storyline was used to plot the rest of HIS demise. JFC.

this woman wanted to rape her protagonist before she even came to his show. she made her wish come true with the use of the cheapest and most thoughtless storylines i've ever seen. it was used to fuel a male character's storyline of pain and a love triangle. i don't even understand how she gets these sick ideas. i used to have fun with my friends watching reign in our dormitories. now it's just a hellhole of rape culture and artificial "feminism" covering a mess of misogynistic and completely ridiculous plot lines.

She ruined a beautiful real life love story portrayed by 2 actors with amazing chemistry and replaced it with a disgusting rape induced "romance " with a historical evil man and enemy to France's royal family.

they're getting a Season 3? i feel bad for americans who would like a better show to watch on thursday nights than this soap opera that constantly does injustice historical figures. please. people who think this woman who creates these ridiculous and unbelievable plot lines for pure "drama". really i thought TVD would be the worst but this show has really made me lose my trust in the cw network.

(Apologies if my English is flawed) Thank you so much for writing this petition. I am unable to watch live but this show has taken such a downward spiral for me since the rape storyline that these so-called writers so cheaply abused. And this constant amounts of love triangles disgusts me. You don't just bring a character on a show just to make her/him another's love interest. There are things called actual storylines. Thanks again. I am infuriated with the insensitivity of this showrunner and cannot believe this show has taken such a wrong turn.
