How dare anyone tell physicians not to save lives, who could tell if any of these physicians would find the cure for cancer, diabetes, arthritis etc, etc, etc.

This decision is illegal and discriminatory. ECFMG should reconsider treating all applicants the same.

It is necessary to help the doctors that are in our country, in particular the Cuban doctors who are trying to live out their dreams.

After having my Academic Medical Credentials verified by ECFMG through 3 Licensed M.D's in U.S since 2011, and just in the middle of the Examination Process, after having spent lots of time and money in exams, books, online and live prep and even stop working to devote 150% of my time to prep for the USMLE, have to listen to this by ECFMG??? It is sad to see how the Cuban government tries to manipulates everything, they firmly believe we are their Slaves to put money in their deep pockets and as Slaves if we dare to escape they will do every possible thing to kill us by suffocation of our hopes and dreams, it is time for people out of our Community to realize it, we have to speak up, many of us are U.S Citizens, we have constitutional rights to petition the government and freedom of speech, this is DISCRIMINATION, restoring our rights would be just fair. Thanks Dr. Julio Cesar Alfonso and SSF for all your hard work.

I am a doctor from Cuba, US citizen, graduated at FIU as an ARNP in a program for foreign physician, I am applying for step 1 since 10/2014, already paid the test. My colleagues had to send my attestation letters two times since ECFMG claims that it was not received, now I know why.

What ever happened to the American Dream? After making the impossible to leave a country where every single freedom we as human beings are born with and taken away, it's absolutely WRONG!
