We hope that this Petition be answered as soon as possible since there are many applicants and Medical School Graduates who have taken the USMLE exams and awaiting response from the ECFMG. It is unfair that foreign medical school graduates from Cuba are not allowed to proceed, but the American students residing in Cuba, going through the same syllabus content as everyone, taking the same exams that every student is required to take in Cuba, are allowed to proceed further without any problem. I don't see the logic in this at all. My fellow American and Carribean friends who have just recently taken the STEP exams have been given the go ahead for the remaining STEP exams and have not faced any problem at all. Please reconsider this restriction against many Graduates and Physicians who are ready to provide their services, and might i add, the best medical services to the United States Of America.

I do not agree with this measure because it is a very delicate way to produce alienation of Cuban medical personnel.

We strongly condemn this unfair and utterly discriminatory policy which is a clear example of national origin discrimination. We demand immediate revision of these policies and restoration of normal services toCuban applicants just like any other applicant from anywhere else in the world.

I am Medical Doctor graduated in Cuba, Specialist in Family Medicine and Specialist in Neurology, and now a House Physican and an Assistant of a Neurorologist, planning to get my license to practice the Medicine and the Neurology one more time in this Great Nation that is now my New Home, and that I Love with all my Heart . I came to this country two years ago running away from the Slavery of Communism in Cuba. This, what is happening now, is a direct attack against the Freedom of those, who like me, came to this Great Nation, the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave, to live the life of the Free because they were Brave enough to fight face to face the Communists in Cuba, but in order to preserve their own lives and the life of their beloved ones, had to leave everything behind. Are we still living there??!!!, or here, in the United States of America!!! The Greatest Nation in the whole World!!! Land of the Free and Home of the Brave!!! Land that I Love!!!
