New era of professional apartheid is here from the authorities of EFMG and the administration of the Democratic Party seating at the White House for 8 years playing the political game to dictatorial government of the Cuban Island, shame for the Democracy and Freedom when professionals ,who escape from that regimen looking for better future in this great country, can't go in this process like any other Doctor from any other country around the world , with a regular process, to get and MD credential just because the Castro's government, who control everything in that country, doesn't released and facilitate the process for the credentials of the Cubans doctors.
This is a violation of the humans rights and the development and progress of the Intellectuals in Health fields coming from Cuba. Cubans doctors claims to be treated equal without any restrictions and a reconsideration of this new policies must be reviewed and revocated to let the Cuban Doctors move with the same rights and conditions as any other Doctor around the world who comes to the USA to get their licenses renovated in the USMLE process
As a proud American Citizen I claim my right of speach to report this unfair violation to the Cuban doctors
In God we still Trust
God bless America

The US physician shortage is contrived for political/financial gain. If it is NOT, you will facilitate the testing and licensure of Cuban physicians, and others equally qualified, with all urgency.

It is incomprehensible, other than solely for political reasons, why Cuban doctors should be singled out and not allowed the opportunity that doctors from every other country are entitled. Discriminatory on every level.

July 16, 2015
ECFMG is pleased to announce that it will resume processing of service requests in relation to applicants from and institutions in Cuba. As previously announced, ECFMG was not processing such requests, pending approval of its license application for Cuba by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Today, ECFMG was advised that OFAC has approved the license application.
ECFMG thanks all of its applicants and client organizations for their patience and cooperation throughout this situation.

This is complete and utter discrimination! This is not acceptable! Accept any doctor that passes the United States tests that are even more rigorous for the foreign doctors.
