As students, the @med.wayne.edu email address is a source of pride as well as an important identity marker when attempting to network with physicians and researchers via email. Losing the email address will take away a crucial advantage we as medical students have when we email to apply for positions with professionals that would see our email address as a validation of our position.

Sending an email from ab1234 will make us look like robots. I personally prefer to receive emails from human beings.

This may seem minor but having an email address that recognizes our identity as a medical student is very important to us.
As students, the @med.wayne.edu email address is a source of pride as well as an important identity marker when attempting to network with physicians and researchers via email.
