Agents are nationwide, and if they are versed in insurance, there should not be catergorized by province

As an agent who specializes in destination wedding groups where guests are coming from all over Canada this would allow me to provide insurance to those who want it more effectively and efficiently.

The current federal government has made it a priority to remove interprovincial trade barriers including the movement and recognition of credentials across provinces. I encourage the federal government to take action and remove the barriers that exist in the travel industry regarding the sale of travel insurance. Every Canadian should have access to vendors across the country equally. These barriers (i.e. licensing) create an undue financial burden to travel advisors.

I agree with being able to sell travel insurance across Canada.

Its ridiculous that I can sell a cruise, but I cannot recommend or sell them travel protection to my client in Ontario. We are one country.

Current rules make it very difficult to provide a full service to clients in other provinces

It would be beneficial if I could be licensed across all provinces. The current barriers are harming customers as they don't always reach out to the people we refer them to in other provincies or they do reach out and are not provided the right information to ensure they are knowledgable on the product that is right for them, often buying inferior products.

Ridiculous rulings of Insurance Companies regulating regions or provinces for clients living in different areas on the country in Canada for travel agents is a nuisance. One Canada One Insurance to offer throughout. Stop the madness!

Having clients across the County and not being able to provide insurance to all is confusing. Training on insurance should also be consistent across provinces to ensure all Agents know what they are selling and know HOW to provide coverage.

My clients out of province cannot understand why I can't sell them insurance. Please change this so I can make sure all my clients have the proper insurance coverage.

Inconsistency in regulations hurt and confuse our clients. We need one regulation for our great country!

Being military in my previous career resulted in having clients coast to coast and currently my ability to counsel and provide insurance to many is hindered...sometimes to the extent where they choose to take no coverage at all and remain unprotected. A dangerous gamble. Something has to change!

Because I have clients that live all over Canada this would make it so much easier for me to offer insurance to all residences.

Being licensed in every province to sell travel insurance is a money grab and unnecessary if we are required to keep up a standard of knowledge the insurance company mandates.

This is very important as all my clients should be protected with insurance, no matter what province they live in.
