Petition for Coach Nick Turcotte's Contract to be Re-Evaluated and Voted on by the ENTIRE Board

My grandson has learned a lot from him.

Please re-evaluate Nic Turcotte’s contract and allow the entire board vote on his contract. Regardless of some people opinion of Nic, he is the reason we came from the stars to the saints. He’s always been fair, honest, a great coach, and has our kids in his best interests.

Like many parent's I was not happy with this decision and the fact that it was made so close to the season is crazy. Many families like us drive past other hockey rinks to this one for a reason. We will be looking at other options for the coming season due to these actions if the decision is not reversed.

We want Coach Nick back!

Because of Nick, I was finally able to back off as an under qualified beer league coach and watch my kid develop into a real hockey player. At this point, I am not sure where I want my HARD EARNED MONEY spent. Nothing on KT coming in (I don't know him) but I know what I'm getting with Nick. Let's not forget the biggest reason of all, MY CHILD, YOUR REASON FOR BEING, LOVES NICK AND HIS FATHER DEARLY! Yeah, Nick might be a bit abrasive but at the end of the day I learned more from him and enjoy him more than anyone in my 30+ years of hockey. A THICK, THICK chapter in the Saints family album and your gonna tear it out and burn it? Waiting on a small step forward or GIANT step backwards. To me it sounds like childish school behavior, "We don't like Nick so he's got to go." Prove me wrong, we're all aware of your beef with Nick. He's on his way out so spill the beans and help me understand your position better. Sincerely, My Money

Give Nick Turcotte a JOB!

Nick has been absolutely instrumental in the development of my son and countless other players in the Saints organization. He's taken this program in a whole new and higher level.

Evaluation by entire board with appropriate notice for all members.

I don’t think this was handled correctly and you judge people and organizations on how they treat their employees. If moving on from. Ick was right decision that should have been communicated to him earlier giving him the opportunity to find other employment. I know he asked if he needed to look and was told multiple times privately and publicly by emails to group he would have a spot. Love or hate Nick it’s important to treat people right.

Nick has some a lot to grow this organization as well as my son. Before he came we had one u8 team and last year we had 8. I have been excited about the direction he has taken and was VERY disappointed that his contract was not renewed. I believe this will lead to a decrease in numbers this upcoming season.

Nick deserves to continue in his roll as director

Please don't let someone leave that has built up our program so much!

Please get Nick back on the staff. It makes no sense to let him go when we are trying to grow in Multiple avenues. We NEED him!

The saints will lose a lot of families that will follow the Turcotte family wherever they go

Nick is one of the only reasons my son is excited about hockey! Hes always available when I ask him questions and always getting us to sign up for upcoming sessions. Nick knows how to teach hockey and how to get on my kids level of understanding to get them to learn. I see his passion to bring out the best in players. I was shocked to hear his contact wasn't renewed.

Bantam 14u parent. Nick has been a an amazing coach and an a terrific positive influence on my son (Talen) over the past years. I’ll support him any way I can here.

Nick has done great things for this program. Motivated the kids and has instilled a sense of belonging by building meaningful relationships. We would be fools to let him leave

I feel Nick has been integral in growing the Saints organization as a whole. He has also brought a culture of integrity and winning to our youth. The board as a whole should reconsider the decision to renew Nick's contract.
