CBI needs stricter rules if it means we can travel without being harassed. nobody wants to feel like a criminal when they land.

We would like to kindly raise concerns shared by a number of citizens of Saint Kitts and Nevis who obtained their nationality through the Citizenship by Investment Program.
Many of these citizens have faced unfair and discriminatory treatment when traveling to certain countries. This treatment appears to be based on their place of birth or the method through which they obtained citizenship, rather than the passport they legally hold. Such situations are troubling, as all citizens of Saint Kitts and Nevis should be treated equally.
By way of example, and without limitation, some citizens have reported difficulties when traveling to countries such as Taiwan and Egypt, including increased scrutiny or entry challenges.
We respectfully ask the Government to work as quickly as possible to address these concerns through diplomatic channels and to take steps that help improve international confidence in the Saint Kitts and Nevis passport.
In this regard, we would like to suggest further development of the Citizenship by Investment Program by improving transparency and security measures. Possible steps could include introducing stricter residency or mandatory visit requirements, as well as adding biometric data to the passport, such as fingerprint or iris recognition. These measures would enhance security and provide greater protection and credibility for the passport.
We believe that such improvements would help strengthen the international reputation of Saint Kitts and Nevis and ensure fair treatment of all its citizens abroad.
Thank you for your attention and consideration.

I would recommend that the Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis temporarily suspend the CBI program and introduce new rules requiring all new applicants to reside in the country for at least three months. In addition, all adult applicants should be required to obtain a language proficiency certificate. Successful applicants should receive their registration certificates and passports from the nearest embassy following an official ceremony. Furthermore, individuals who obtain citizenship should be required to visit the islands for a minimum of ten days within the first five years of citizenship.

There are also reports from economic citizens of Saint Kitts and Nevis denied entrance to Norway because of the same discrimination between the birth citizens and economic citizens!
