Chickens can be a welcome addition to the urban environment. With proper management backyard flocks provide vast benefits to their owners. Hens will continue to produce eggs even in the absence of a rooster. A trio of hens has the potential to produce over 700 eggs per year, an excellent low cost protein source. Please consider reversal or an minimum modifications to current ordnance to allow for small backyard flock.

I had chickens for almost 3 years in Van Buren Before a city worker saw them in my backyard . And I was told I had to get rid of them . This right here tells you they don't smell they're not loud they're not of noxious they're not noisy you will have more problems with cats and dogs then you will chickens . I say yes and has said yes to chickens .
