Unban him and give him a chance to apologize. Perma banned over 1 side comment please. Should have been a temp ban if anything for being out of line. He lost years of work and $1000's of dollars worth of isk by being screwed over. He was upset and probably said some things he didn't mean.
Free the Gig he made a mistake his convo's leaked later on showed a remorseful soul. 10 years if his life went kaput doesn't excuse the behavior but a second chance is fair I think.
He never directly threatened, even in his moment of great distress he essentially said enjoy writing in alliance chat. He is a massive content contributor and I'm sure you've noticed that little over a hundred subscriptions have been cancelled since his unfair LIFE ban
Gigx is my friend, he was baited into that streamed chat. He is a Serbian, he is also an angry Serbian. His culture is different from mine and yours. Give the guy a chance and let him return.
A 30 day ban would be more appropriate instead of a perma-ban considering that was the ban applied to a player who incited others to harass another player about committing suicide.

Permanent bans should be an extreme exception. They never benefit anyone. It's not hard to think of 100 other ways in Eve to punish a player. Only the ones who don't learn after several warnings should be banned for say 5 years.
