Petition For Burton To Receive A Replacement Chem Teacher.

I agree with everything I read.

She wants us to do a post in 2 days and give us a test right away please take her away

She is a very complicated teacher who does not know how to get involved with the students and I feel like she is bias with the students she likes and does not like I don't feel very excepted in the class and her teaching style is to complicated for me to understand what she is teaching

she is rude

she needs to learn that we are young adults and not little kids

So a couple days ago i overheard students talking to our 11th grade counselor telling him Ms. Barnes just jumped into a chapter keep in mind the students don't even know anything she's trying to teach because they've had a sub for a while now, it's been almost 2 months. All these students just want to get a good grade, pass the class so they could graduate and maybe learn about chem but how can they do that when the district hired a lady that seems like she isn't even ready for her position. She doesn't even look like she teaches at all, more like she works at a hospital as a nurse. POINT IS, every student that has her is saying a lot of things which are related. For example, she targets students, she doesn't know how to control her classes, she doesn't know how to explain the stuff she's teaching, she jumps to conclusions, all i hear is just negative stuff nothing positive. Some of us teens may asks teachers why they want to teach or why they're teaching.. and maybe not all but most of them say "because i want to make a difference in the lives of children", but this teacher? we don't even know who she is, her background story, and everything. Some of us don't even trust her because of that. I'm not even in her class and i think it sucks hearing all these things coming from students that is in her class. I just hope this petition changes something. I know we're just 16-17 year old teens that probably "don't know what we're saying" but you know we all have a voice, and to me i think it's AMAZING to see what us youth can do when we put our stand together and use our voices to what we deeply believe in. Yeah, maybe it'll be better if we actually do something at school instead of writing in the comments but at least we're doing something right? It's better than doing nothing.

I believe that she should be replaced by another chem teacher because of the way she treats me. Thanks.
