The Bleecker Street Bar has a magic to it that defied the norm for small, local bars. It had charm, cool bartenders, great jukebox, pool and darts (ping pong on occasion) and was the sort of place that you could hang with old friends while making new ones. It was without question my “hometown” bar and cannot think of a better group of owners to start a Version 2.0 for the next generation of New Yorkers to hang at and share stories once the world puts sars-CoV-2 in our collective rearview mirror.
Oh, and I met my wife there playing pool, so there’s that, too!
