Whereas,
we support the independence, autonomy, and positive culture of
Bricolage Academy, while rejecting any attempt for an outside
organization to impose it’s will on Bricolage.
Whereas,
Bricolage Academy is truly an anti-racist organization and our support
for women and People of Color to hold leadership positions without
interference from parties outside of our school family exemplifies our
commitment to anti-racism, and where as UTNO has not demonstrated such commitments to anti-racism as an organization.
Whereas,
any potential workplace issues are best solved by collaboration and
communication between employees and school leadership, not through
restrictive and expensive collective bargaining contracts.
Whereas,
we affirm the rights of a positive working relationships between all
employees, not just those determined to be within a bargaining unit and
reject the need for those relationships to be determined by a bargaining
unit.
Whereas, we reject any attempt by external organizations, including UTNO, to divide our school family.
We, the undersigned individuals, reject any attempt to place Bricolage Academy under a collective bargaining agreement.
LEAVE OUR SCHOOL ALONE. We dont need unions here dividing everyone up. Keep it local.
