Petition for Academic Support and Fair Evaluation
We, the undersigned students of BUS 290 intro to Statistics, are submitting this petition to raise concerns about our ability to successfully meet the learning objectives of this course.
Over the duration of the class, many students have experienced ongoing difficulty understanding the material and preparing for assignments and assessments. Despite putting in effort to complete coursework and study, a significant portion of the class feels that we are not receiving the clarity, structure, and instructional support necessary to fully grasp the subject.
As a result, our academic performance may not accurately reflect our effort or potential understanding of the material. Our goal is not to place blame, but to ensure that all students are given a fair opportunity to learn and demonstrate their knowledge.
We respectfully request that the school review this situation and consider appropriate solutions. These may include additional academic support, alternative instructional resources, grading considerations, or other measures that would allow students to be evaluated fairly.
