A speed camera should be added by the school. Many other CPS high schools have a speed camera on their street.

Cars often go flying down Jackson as they speed east toward downtown. A flashing sign would help them remember to slow down as they drive past the school.

Agree..We(custodians ) put the safety cones out in morning and we also have to dodge cars....I say speed camera is needed!!!!!

Thank goodness. The increase in distracted drivers makes this an even more critical imperative. Our youth’s safety must be a priority. Respect and care for all children!

I have almost been a vicmit if getting hit by a speeding vehicle that was speeding by this area. Please help us avoid having one of the kids get hit by a driver.
