We, the undersigned, consider we were discriminated against in the teaching and teaching support for module 7BBPM024 - Core Analytical Science and we demand that a replacement examination, that represents the weighting of the topics taught, be offered to all students or the examination grades be adjusted accordingly.

The stories coming in from those of you who struggled through this module are heartrending and confirm exactly why I started this fight. I am currently compiling your accounts to present directly to the department because they cannot continue to ignore the reality of what happened to us.

Seeing this kind of movement confirms that my experience was not an isolated struggle. It feels validating to know that so many of you felt ignored by the current grading process and are ready to push for a fair assessment.

The last year's exam pattern was very misleading. There were many topics covered during our lectures but in the exam we had questions based mostly on HPLC and the property of the molecules was not known. Also, on the day of our exam we had a tube strike and many people including me reached late and were not given any extra time to write our exam.

MSc Analytical Toxicology. Generally agree with the points about the course seeming fairly disorganised and the exam incorporating content that was a minor part of the module for a quarter of the marks. Do not agree with the comment that the module is mainly pharmacy based as these are under pining principle techniques for all modules toxicology, pharmacy and forensic alike.

I definitely agree that the example exam paper provided was misleading. I am unsure as to why there was a big question concerning chi-squared, when as a Toxicologist I would never do a chi- squared test, especially by hand. Was completely pointless! Just feel like all of the effort I put into revising has been a big waste of my time.

Felt that there was great disparity between the learning objectives/taught module and the exam
