4 player split screen has always been a big part of halo. This is just one of the most enjoyable ways to play the game. To gather around with friends and family members who don't own the console or the game is just too big of a feature to miss.

Halo has always had 4 player split screen. The best part had always been the coop campaign and the split screen, take that away and it becomes just another call of duty game.

I'm voting in 4-player or I'm skipping, no excuse. This has been the staple and the reason Halo has lived on each release like it has. Try to enjoy some older FPS games with 2 player or no split screen after the community moves on, 1v1 sure isn't too fun. For those of us who love couch play with family and real life friends 4 player made Halo the must own and play game, removing it sticks it with the other cash cow shooters like CoD. 343i don't become the other guys, remember the roots.

Seriously, not even one next gen game has 4 player co-op. It wad a matter of time before halo abandoned local co-op, with all the changes they've made. Everything is about money money money. I'm afraid the campaign will be entirely single player now, and I might as well not even bothered with video games anymore because they've all turned into generic pieces of shit. No creativity, no local co-op to support the families and friends who actually like to meet up and enjoy a nice gaming night together, playing fun party games like crash bash, or halo ce, kung fu chaos etc... Everything's so fucking serious and heavily militarised. All this gamer culture bull crap and the gaming industries fucking sole interest on money has ruined video games. Fucking hell. It's the 21st century, and with all the technology and creative minds we have, you'd think we'd have come up with enjoyable games, movies and music and so forth. But instead we get crap from every industry because they're all money hungry hippos.

My Greatest ever gaming experiences have come from 4player splitscreen, there is absolutely no need to remove it. Graphics aren't that important, gameplay is everything!
