Even though I don't care to read this book. I agree with the school the reason this is band is not okay. I don't think it's right for them to ban a book that's good for educational purposes. fine but don't punish children that are almost legally adults from learning how the real world works.

Any student or parent uncomfortable with 1984 as apart of the curriculum should take it to an individual level; Just because you are against this novel doesn't mean you should be the parent to every other child and censor their learning. We as students deserve the freedom to learn the lesson contained in 1984.

while the removal of this book did not affect my educational environment i
will stand with my peers that are effected, and stand against the banning of literature because it may make some uncomfortable. We as students, and this book deserve more.
