The question is not if but when a spill occurs. Southcap and its affiliates have a nasty record of spills, and the government seems soft when it comes to environmental terrorism which is exactly what's happening in Mobile, AL..

I am against this pipeline. How could anyone rest their head at night knowing the potential for polluting a community's sole water source? The lines bust all the time. Get off the stupid dirty oil!! But money talks so I guess we are screwed. Nice to ask the public's opinion on the matter too. Plains Southcap and the people who let this happen, you should be ashamed of yourselves.

We agree to stop this pipe line NOW. It would be devasting to the surrounding cities to loose our water from Big Creek Lake. For information the port of Mobile is one of very few ports that a ship can take fresh water (drinking water ) from.

I vote for clean water and air. Is it time to change our welcome sign from ""Alabama the Beautiful" to "Tar Sands Hell"? Time to elect someone that is not in the pocket of oil polluters.

This is DIRTY industrial development that assaults our natural water supply and the health and beauty of the Mobile River Delta, it's tributaries Mobile Bay and the Gulf Coast. All of our water resources are intricately bound. We are all part of this living organism of life.

we have to organize and work to make our future what we want. Do we want an industrial giant with the collateral heavy pollution that comes with it ? Don't we have enough right now ? or do we want a city with a great quality of life and appreciation and enjoyment of our beautiful natural resources ? We will have to fight to get it !

I support you all the way from Oregon state in the fight for your right to clean air and water to drink. I'm so sorry you have to go thru this. My husband and I are trying to cut back our need for more energy by moving to tiny apartment from small but not tiny house. Every day we will keep talking and encouraging us all to use less and supporting the fight to help you.
