Shame on the BBC. Brendan Cole is a great dancer, right for defending his partners and has been a part of Strictly since the beginning. Brendan Cole is Strictly. Disgraceful of the BBC. I won't be watching without him

Brendan and Anton are the only original pro dancers left on Strictly and they are the ones the public love most. The BBC’s policy of bringing in younger and younger dancers every year is making it anodyne and unexciting. Having a ‘bad boy’ like Brendan is at least a foil to the blandness of AJ and Neil etc.

Big mistake BBC. As I have already said, whoever is wielding the axe is destroying the show, makes me wonder if Anton will be next? Brendan is great, was loyal to the show and typically how Beeb repay that loyalty! The only way I feel to show our disgust is for fans to switch off!

Strictly should not be getting rid of those with a personality (he has always defended his celebrity partners, quite rightly. He spoke out to Shirley Ballas and now he's not wanted? It's the judging you need to be looking at not the pro dancers.

Brendan deserves better. He invested 15 years of his life to the BBC. Each of us are entitled to our opinion. Give him a new contract immediately.

It’s bad enough they can only rustle mainly soap actors rather than actual celebs. But to get rid of a loved professional dancer, it’s like they want to show to fail.
