PETITION ( by VoCRA ) AGAINST THE SPLITTING OF VOLTA REGION

We don't need division in the land of Western Togoland . I said no division in the land of Western Togoland.

I'm a sun of the soil volta land and we don't support divide and rule our lovely western Togoland.

I am strongly against this absurd division of my dear Volta Region. WTL forever.

I, Dzinadzom Kofitse Ahadzi am strongly opposed to the carving of part of the Volta Region for the creation of a predominantly settled community to be called Oti Region under the flimsy and untenable reason of being under developed. The further excuse being advanced of not being tenants or subjects to any chief elsewhere is false as J. K. Mensah's submission to the UN Trusteeship Commission in 1954 contradicts such latter day claim. The Asantehene had also claim overlordship of this proposed tribal Out Region. Justice S. A. Brobbey's Commission must reject the false claims of these opportunists after consulting United Nation's General Assembly Resolutions L308 and 310 of 1954 as well as L505 of 1955 to establish the falsity of claims of these frontmen of As an te hegemony.

We want our own independent ,we want to be free from Ghana

It is so ridiculous to say, splitting a region will enhance development. The volta region was created since independence, why has it not develop till now. Ghana politics is a shame to say the least. Is volta the biggest region in Ghana ? Let this 'Nonsense' stop now.

Akyem Abuakwa needs development,Mr president, go divide . If division is what bring development, then, let divide Ghana into one million different countries.

It's unfair to devide the region. The President should not create problems by taking that action

I signed this petition strongly against the division or splitting attempt by government of Ghana or any chiefs, lawyers attempting to splits Volta Region so help us God.
