Volta Region is as unique to Ewes as Ashanti region is to Ashantis. It took world nations and the Ewes themselves to decide the present Volta region and not simply a government. Let's think of how to tap its potentials. and develop it's people rather than think of splitting them.

If which benefits will the creating of new region out of Volta bring? We want them to come out clear. The shld divide those bigger ones before coming to Volta.

I don't support the idea of splitting my dear home. Moreover our landscape is so small so why will they want to split it whiles other regions with bigger landscape and higher population are been left untouched.

I am strongly against the splitting of the Volta region because it makes no political, social, and economic sense at all. The people of Volta are happy living as one people and don't need any confusing. The president Nana Akuffo-Addo and his npp government should channel our hard earned limited resources to address important national challenges facing us as people such as child malnutrition, youth unemployment, inadequate number of lecturers in our public universities, lack of teaching and learning materials in our schools and universities, lack of social amenities especially in rural communities, and poor public transport and sanitation services among others.

To me, this idea of splitting Volta region into two has nothing to do with proactive leadership and development.
I want to see the prez make a change in the lives of Volta youth not divide them. it's a bad move and uncalled for.
