we are simply against this malicious and Machiavellian ploy to disintegrate the one people of volta. we even want to be on our own as a nation. maintain the region as it is, our grant us autonomy as a nation.

I simply don't understand why my region 'Volta' should be divided. Why can't they divide the larger and populous regions first. We say no to division, division can't bring development, if you have good intensions for us please just go ahead and do it, but we say no no no no no no to division.

Whether it is constitutional or unconstitutional, we simply do not want a divided Volta Region. Laudable arguments can be made but those same arguments can be made in order for any other region to be divided, but they are not being made thus don't touch our region. Long Live Number 9 land.

Volta region my homeland isn't big to be compare to the other four regions which might not be splits... besides, the Volta isn't legitimately belongs to Ghana, it's through referendum that it became part of Ghana today and development can reached any part of the region through the MMCE than the split.

I think its a bad idea because with the creating or delimitation of a new region, one factor is base on the population.
Ashanti region is densely populated than Volta region so why not divide Ashanti region rather.
