PETITION ( by VoCRA ) AGAINST THE SPLITTING OF VOLTA REGION

Am against the murder of my dear Volta Land.

Pls do not desperate us all in the name of decentralization. While you'd consider political reasons do consider social emotional and even cultural beliefs.

No way for the division of our dear volta region, what we need is devolopment & youth should get job to do. Sign by *KOTOKA COURAGE*

We are unique people. Nobody should divide us to achieve his cheap political points.

Volta region must not be divided for any reason ,Ashanti region is far bigger than volta region so why should Volta be divided and Ashanti region be the same one region ,something is hidden in this so called fast developing agenda ,let come together to say no to division of our home

What will splitting the region do other than to create division. Acheampongs regime came and did the same taking Akosombo Shai Hills Affram plains and northern Volta to other regions. This government must be careful doing things that will not significantly improve the lives of our people. Creating a bureaucracy does not equate to good governance. Decentralizing power within the region by opening up more districts is even suspect because the trained manpower is not there to manage things efficiently

Volta is ready for independence.

I'm against the splitting of the Volta Region. We do not need to be divided to develop. Those resources can be use for a better cause. It wasteful and baseless

The split of the small region like ours is total nonsense and misplace priority. If any region is to be divided at all, Ashianti northern and other bigger regions are there.

No divisions please be fair to yourself and our beloved country mr. President. Volta region is not larger or populous than Ashanti region, if development is your excuse, then why don't you divide the 10 regions into 10 countries. You can actually develop the region without necessarily dividing the people.

I second. If splitting should be done it should be Ashanti Region.
